Two men in Indianapolis have been arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of Crest White Strips.
Thirty-two-year-old Anthony Wiltsee and his equally orthodontic-oriented accomplice, 30-year-old Jordan Doss, will be formally charged on Monday.
The dazzling dental duo stole large amounts of items over at least six incidents, police reports indicate, according to Fox 59. The shoplifters stole mainly from Indianapolis-area Walmart and Target stores.
"Why would you risk going to jail over something so small?" shopper Anthony Malesevic asked Fox 59.
Surprisingly, stealing and reselling bleaching strips is on the rise across America, according to Fox 59. A box of strips can easily retail for $50.
Wiltsee and Doss didn't just stop at one box of strips. Their crime spree totaled more than $7,000 in stolen merchandise - a monetary amount which could carry a felony charge, according to Fox 59.
In addition to the Crest White Strips, the men stole Nexium, Allegra, Zyrtec, Rogaine and a Walking Dead toy.
