'Star Wars': Aaron Paul Responds to Han Solo Spinoff Film Speculation on Twitter

A rumor recently spread across the interwebs that "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul is up for a role in the Han Solo "Star Wars" spin-off film being developed at Lucasfilm. Now there was no word on who exactly he would be playing, but he doesn't seem to fit the Han Solo mold in terms of looks and overall demeanor, so I imagine it would be another character, if the rumor is even true.

The actor took to Twitter recently to respond to the rumors:

Even if the rumor did have some truth to it, Paul isn't going to come right out and say so. As we've seen in the past, actors usually deny rumors over and over again until it becomes true or fades into obscurity. We won't really know the truth behind this for a while.

Paul recently took part in in a live-reading of "The Empire Strikes Back" for Jason Reitman. I would imagine that's what ignited this rumor in the first place. While it would be very interesting to see Paul in some role in the "Star Wars" universe, Han Solo just isn't in his wheelhouse.
