Emma Stone Extends ‘Cabaret’ Engagement By Two Weeks

Come to the "Cabaret" the first two weeks of February, and Emma Stone will still be starring as Sally Bowles.

The Roundabout Theatre Company announced on Monday that Stone extended her Broadway engagement by two weeks. She will remain on stage through Sunday, Feb. 15.

Stone joined the production in November and replaced Michelle Williams in the role of Sally. Both actresses starred opposite Alan Cumming, who reprised his role as the Emcee, which he played in the Roundabout's 1998 revival.

Cumming will continue to star through the final performance on March 29. The Roundabout announced on Jan. 7 that Sienna Miller would take over the role of Sally Bowles on Feb. 17.

The "Cabaret" production originally had Stone attached before it began previews last March, but scheduling conflicts forced the 26-year-old actress to pull out early. The show marked her Broadway debut.

Stone cancelled her appearances for this weekend, most likely due to her expected attendance at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. She's nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role as Michael Keaton's daughter in "Birdman." She also received a Screen Actor's Guild nomination for the role.
