Breast Pumps Stolen From Burlington Coat Factory, Thief Apprehended

A man was caught stealing nearly $1,000 worth of breast pumps from a Burlington Coat Factory in New Jersey in early December, the New York Daily News reported on Monday.

A video posted on social media showing the Dec. 1 theft in action led police to 34-year-old Joseph Galucci. After some saw the video online, tips starting coming into the Brick Township police quickly.

Employees said they witnessed a man leaving the store without paying for three Media Freestyle Breast Pumps, NBC Philadelphia reported. Once outside he threw the pumps away, for no apparent reason, and ran off before getting into a white SUV.

"The Brick Township Police Department would like to thank the many citizens that assisted in this case, once again highlighting the value of the police-citizen relationship," the police station said in a statement, according to Macroinsider.

Galucci is in Ocean County Jail on $20,000 bail.
