The Duke Blue Devils play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Wednesday. Tipoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream below.
No. 2 Duke remains undefeated after notching their 13th win of the season on Saturday against Boston College, 85-62. The play from Dukes trio of freshmen - Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones - has been dominant all season, but coach Mike Krzyzewski still believes they, and the rest of the team, still has plenty of room for improvement.
"This is a really good, outstanding young team that has a chance to become a really good team," he said, via ESPN. "It's won obviously its first 13 games but it's young and doesn't have the habits that a veteran team would have."
Krzyzewski, who's four wins short of 1,000 overall, also knows Wednesday won't be easy. Wake Forest might be 8-7, but they know Duke well from conference play. They also won the last time the two teams met, something Krzyzewski remembers well.
"Again they beat us there at the end of last year, and so they played, Codi Miller-McIntyre and (Devin) Thomas, both played great games against us," Krzyzewski said of their 82-72 loss on March 5. "They provide the foundation for their good young group of players."
Miller-McIntyre and Thomas have benefitted from the arrival of freshman Mitchell Wilbekin, who's shooting 45.1 percent from 3-point range.
"Mitch has been put in a situation where we're depending on him to make shots, we're depending on him to be a really good solid defender, we're depending on him to be a leader out there with the ball in his hands," said Wake Forest coach Danny Manning.
Wake Forest had their three-game winning streak snapped on Sunday in an 85-76 loss to Louisville.
