Things are about to get a bit on the blustery side for the Fastest Man Alive.
Liam McIntyre is joining the show as villain the Weather Wizard for the upcoming 15th and 16th episodes of "The Flash," according to a report at ComicBook.com, who spotted a photo of him on "The Flash" set that was posted to Instagram.
The Weather Wizard's comic book origins date back to 1959, when he first appeared in The Flash No. 110. Like his name suggests, he has the power to manipulate the weather. On the show, The Flash (Grant Gustin) fought The Weather Wizard's brother Clyde Mardon (Chad Rook) in the series' pilot, and the villain (also known as Mark Mardon) is coming to Central City for revenge against Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) who shot his brother.
McIntyre played the title character in the second and third season the Starz series "Spartacus."
"The Flash" returns to The CW on Jan. 20.
