'Playboy Mansion'-Themed Party for Daughter's Birthday Leads To Arrest Of Lawyer Dad

A "Playboy"-themed teen party with alcohol flowing like water led to the arrest of a California father and lawyer, the Daily News reported on Tuesday.

Jeff Lake, an attorney who specializes in medical marijuana cases in the city of San Diego, was arrested after police busted the party where 150 to 200 underage partiers had congregated.

Neighbors called the police after hearing loud music and seeing lots of booze and girls in scantily-clad outfits with bunny ears. Inside the home, two teenage boys were discovered drunkenly passed out. Lake was taken into custody and all of the attendees were told to leave.

The occasion was for his daughter, Olivia Lake, who wanted to celebrate her 18th birthday in a unique way. She is a senior at Poway High School where her mother, who was not home at the time, is the former PTA president.

Jacki Lake, her mother, called Olivia the "baddest b**** in town" in a tweet before the party, and then added "now don't get arrested."

Mayor Steve Vaus was not supportive of the event, according to the Daily Mail.

"You have a party like this and it's as though you're handing out hand grenades as party favors. It's a disaster waiting to happen," he said. "'I'd like to put a scarlet letter in front of the homes of people that do this, to say you can't trust these folks, they make bad decisions related to kids' safety."
