A fourth student has come forward and said that he had sexual relations with Utah teacher Brianne Altice, the Daily News reported.
Altice, 35, is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old boy between November 2013 and August 2014. She also allegedly sent a nude photo of her breasts to the fourth accuser, a 16-year-old.
The teacher was behind bars briefly after she was found to be illegally having sex with a minor and dealing detrimental material to him. Dating back to incidents in Jan. 2013, Altice could be facing 14 felony counts related to the discovery.
After additional information came to light about other crimes through a former English teacher at the same school, Altice's 2014 trial was pushed back. Because the crimes happened while she was out on bail on other sexual misconduct charges, prosecutors have asked that she be held without bail, the Salt Lake City Tribune reported.
"It is her defense that they did not happen at all," her attorney, Edward Brass, wrote. "That she never engaged in any inappropriate contact with either of her students ... "
The state of Utah says Altice acknowledged to police that she had sex with a 16-year-old boy twice. Her attorney asked that those statements not be made at trial, arguing that she was put on the spot and intimidated by the 10 male officers who came to her home in October to ask about the incidents.
