Tamera Mowry Finds Out the Gender of Her Second Baby On 'The Real’

It's a girl.

Less than one week after actress Tamera Mowry-Housley announced she was expecting her second child with husband Adam Housley, the talk show host decided to let America know the gender of her bundle of joy during a taping of "The Real."

While throwing around a few baby names for fun, Tamera's co-host Tamar Braxton called up the actress' husband, who already knew the gender of the baby, and had him announce the exciting news to the studio audience and his wife, who had said she wanted to be surprised about the gender.

"First of all, my wife is sitting there and I've been under the instruction not to tell her," he said over the phone. "I love you guys, but I gotta deal with one woman when I go home and I wanna make sure that she's cool."

But, after some convincing from her co-host, the mom-to-be took the phone and said, "I wanna know!"

"IT'S A GIRL! Adam told me the gender of our baby today while taping #TheReal and I was so surprised and excited!! Love my co-hosts at @therealdaytime for being so supportive!" the actress captioned an Instagram picture taken moments after finding out the sex of her baby.

Mowry-Housley and her husband, a Fox News correspondent, are already parents to two-year-old Aden.

The actress announced on Instagram and her blog Monday that she was pregnant with baby number two. The couple's second child is due in the summer.

"Adam and I are thrilled to announce that we're expecting!" she wrote. "Ever since being blessed with Aden we have known that we would eventually want to expand our family. We're very excited and grateful to say that we will be welcoming baby #2 this July!"
