The Cleveland Cavaliers play the Golden State Warriors on Friday. Tipoff is at 10:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.
Cleveland (19-17) has lost seven of their last 10 games, including three straight, and will likely remain without superstar LeBron James as the team begins their 5-game road trip. One plus for the struggling Cavaliers, though, is the recent acquisition of Timofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets. Cleveland dealt two 2015 first-round picks to Denver for Mozgov, who'll provide the Cavs with a much-needed rim protector.
Unfortunately for Cleveland, Mozgov might not be available Friday night because of a delay in administering a physical to him.
"I honestly don't expect him to play this evening," said coach David Blatt, via Cleveland.com. "I don't think he'll be ready to play as of yet. We're still working through some of the physical side of things in terms of getting him passed to play. There's no serious issue, but I really don't think he'll be out there tonight. We'll see him out there in Sacramento, playing."
At this point, according to Cleveland.com, it's entirely up in the air whether the 7-foot-1 center will start. He went from starting, to out, to probable against Golden State in the span of hours, although an email from the Cavaliers said he had passed his physical Friday afternoon.
If Mozgov's debut with Cleveland is delayed, Tristan Thompson will resume starting duties at the 5-spot.
Golden State (28-5), meanwhile, has continued their strong start to the 2014-15 season. After losing consecutive games in late December, the Warriors bounced back and head into Friday's game looking for their sixth straight win.
