President Barack Obama was called out Monday for snubbing the historic Paris rally attended by 40 other world leaders in the wake of last week's terrorist attacks there.
"France is our oldest ally," Obama said during a speech Friday in Tennessee. "I want the people of France to know that the United States stands with you today, stands with you tomorrow."
But President Obama, nor any other members of his administration, were standing in Paris at Monday's rally.
After the rally a lot of people turned to Twitter to speculate why President Obama didn't make it to France using the hash tag #ReasonsObamaMissedFranceRally.
