R&B artist Drake was denied entry into the Miami Heat locker room Thursday night after the team won its second straight NBA Finals championship. It wasn't a total loss - he's later caught celebrating with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in a club well into the morning. Even Heat president Pat Riley makes a cameo.
Security denied the singer access to the locker room, stating only media was allowed. Drake, taken aback, claimed: "I am media."
It didn't appear to sway the guard in the video.
LeBron James, reportedly a friend of Drake, had just led his team two its second consecutive NBA title. He dropped 37 points in the Heat's Game 7 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, winning 95-88.
Drake did meet up with James and Wade later. TMZ captured the NBA champions and singer partying until 5:30 a.m. in a Miami club. Even Heat president Pat Riley made a cameo.
