Rap artist Waka Flocka Flame has recently announced to TMZ that he has plans to produce troubled star Amanda Bynes' upcoming rap album. Despite recent reports that Bynes has signed to Chinga Changa Records, RumorFix reports that the actress claims she has never spoken to them regarding a contract deal.
Bynes was allegedly "committed" to Chinga Changa Records, as record label CEO Dan Herman told the gossip site that her "voice sounds like Christina Aguilera."
"She has a great singing voice - it's theatrical," Herman said. "Our producers really dig that and think they can parlay that into a hit record." He advised people check out Bynes' role in the film version of "Hairspray" for an example of her singing ability.
However, Bynes recently tweeted that she "never spoke" to Herman. "I got an offer for a bigger record deal that I'm taking as soon I get my surgeries!," she wrote.
It looks like Herman isn't the only one interested in working with Bynes. Waka Flocka Flame, who runs Brick Squad Monopoly Records, told TMZ that Bynes' upcoming album will be legendary. He claims that he's already started hiring people to write tracks for the star, and although there is no official deal yet, it's "basically in the bag."
Bynes' latest public antics, family issues, run-ins with the law and Twitter rants and outbursts (including calling a variety of fellow stars "ugly") have created a controvesy over whether or not the young star is mentally unstable. As for Waka, he sees nothing wrong with Bynes. "She has it all together to me," the rapper told TMZ. "She is cool as hell and ready for the rap world. I think she is going to kill the game."
Waka said that the new album will be called "Shots," and added that it's "going to be crazy hot," as the rapper plans to feature on several of Bynes' songs.
