The West Indies took a 2-0 lead in the series after winning both of the first two T20s by four wickets. Chris Gayle earned the Man of the Match award for his performance Saturday in the second T20, where he scored a team-high 90 runs. Marlon Samuels added 60 runs to the offensive effort, and David Wiese led the West Indies bowlers with four outs and three wickets taken; Kyle Abbott, Marchant de Lange and Aaron Phangiso each took one wicket apiece and combined for 11 outs.
South Africa, meanwhile, is playing for pride and looking to avoid being swept in the three-game T20 series. Skipper Faf du Plessis scored a game-high 119 runs, but received little offensive support otherwise from his teammates, with the exception of David Miller's 47 runs. On the bowling front, Jason Holder and Dwayne Bravo each took two wickets and accounted for four of the team's five total wickets taken.
