Gary Oldman is getting divorced for the fourth time.
The "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" actor and his fourth wife Alexandra Edenborough are getting divorced, People Magazine confirmed. Edenborough, who is a songwriter, filed for divorce from the actor after six years of marriage, and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
A representative for the actor revealed that the couple have been separated for more than a year and "have agreed to an amicable divorce" and "remain on warm, friendly terms."
"Alex and I had several great years together, and we shared a great love during that time; but there is big difference in our ages and ultimately that gap inevitably revealed different lifestyle interests," Oldman said in a statement, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"While I have been sad about this for over a year, I am grateful for the good times we did have, and we remain friends. Of course I wish Alex the best happiness in the future."
According to the court documents obtained by Radar Online, Edenborough listed their date of separation as "TBD." The English jazz singer has asked the court to be awarded with spousal support and for Oldman to cover her attorney's fees.
Before his marriage to Edenborough, "The Dark Knight Rises" actor was previously married to Lesley Manville, Uma Thurman and Donya Fiorentino.
In an interview with the U.K.'s The Independent, the actor said he was hoping his marriage with Edenborough was his last.
"I'm not proud to say that though," Oldman told the Independent. "But I've had a few goes at it now, so I've probably learnt something from the first three. Practice makes perfect. Isn't that what they say? I'm not proud that this is my fourth marriage. But this is a good one. Hopefully, my last one."
