"Grand Theft Auto V" fans with PCs won't be happy to hear that this version won't be coming out as soon as initially expected.
Rockstar Games, the developer behind the popular title, announced Tuesday that it will release GTA V for PC on March 24 instead of Jan. 27, which was the original plan, according to PC Magazine.
However, the company promised that the change will be worth the wait, as it needs a few weeks to put the finishing touches on the game.
"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date, but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be," Rockstar wrote in a blog post. "Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding."
The announcement follows two months after the game became available to gamers with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, GameSpot reported.
Rockstar released PC specs that showed players will need at least 4GB of memory and a quad core processor running at least a 2.5GHz, with the company suggesting 8GB of memory and an Intel core i5 chip (or equivalent) that can run at 3.2GHz.
The company added that the PC version will also run at 1080p and 60fps with up to 4K resolution and will support up to three monitors and Nvidia 3D Vision for up to triple-monitor setups, PC Magazine reported.
PC fans will also be treated with "GTA Online Heists," which Rockstar said will be available on consoles "in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch."
