Welcome to the land of television, Mr. Woody Allen.
Amazon Studios has signed the four-time Oscar winner and famous director to write and direct his first television series, which is currently using the name "Untitled Woody Allen Project."
Allen's new project is a half-hour series, and has already received a full season order from Amazon, with all episodes written and directed by the filmmaker, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I don't know how I got into this," Allen said in a statement. "I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price [vice president of Amazon Studios] will regret this."
No details on Allen's series have been released. The show will be available only on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the U.S., the U.K. and Germany.
"Woody Allen is a visionary creator who has made some of the greatest films of all-time, and it's an honor to be working with him on his first television series," Roy Price, vice president of Amazon Studios, said in a statement. "From 'Annie Hall to Blue Jasmine,' Woody has been at the creative forefront of American cinema and we couldn't be more excited to premiere his first TV series exclusively on Prime Instant Video next year."
It's been an amazing past year for Amazon.
Amazon Studios won its first two Golden Globes for Jill Soloway's landmark series "Transparent" at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes on Sunday.
The show was awarded for Best Comedy Series, and actor Jeffrey Tambor won Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
