Anyone who knows me knows my love for Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" runs wide and deep. I love both the film and Anthony Burgess' novel equally. There's just something in the overall story that speaks to me. And that swirling, synth soundtrack gives me goose bumps to this very day. What can I say?
But now, I also love this as well. GTA Series Videos (via VG247) has recreated a few scenes from Kubrick's iconic film about ultra-violence and the undying love of Beethoven's 9th Symphony in "Grand Theft Auto V" and, well, it's "GTA" with Malcolm McDowell doing the voice over work rather than some random dude.
To be fair, that's dismissing it a bit, as this is well put together and they've done a really excellent job of recreating key shots from the film itself. It's a little odd, though, to see scenes from the film that were meant to shock (and certainly did back in 1971) recreated in the game and just look like a normal Tuesday night (for Charlie Sheen, at least).
