Selena Gomez palled around with Paul Rudd at a Golden Globes after-party on Sunday night. The two will meet again soon to start work on their new movie "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving."
The two actors will star in the upcoming indie flick from Emmy-winning director Rob Burnett, according to Deadline. Filming will begin on Jan. 22 in Atlanta.
Rudd will star as Ben, a caregiver looking after a frustrated teenager named Trevor who is in the advanced stages of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Burnett adapted the script from the 2013 novel by Jonathan Evison.
The 22-year-old singer will play Dot, "a sassy young woman who hitches a ride with the pair during a road trip, and whose forwardness and lack of embarrassment about Trevor's condition causes him to develop a crush on her," according to Deadline.
