From Skinnygirl margaritas to Skinnygirl marijuana?! "Real Housewives of New York City" star Bethenny Frankel is expanding her calorie-cutting brand to include weed, US Weekly reports.
The 44-year-old is reportedly in the process of creating a "specifically engineered strain of pot designed to not give you the munchies," a source told the magazine.
"She read about how profitable the cannabis industry is and wants to get in on that," the source added.
Reportedly, Frankel plans on launching her new product in Colorado, Washington, Alaska and Oregon, where recreational weed is legal. Back in December, Frankel was doing some "research" for her supposed new Skinnygirl line and was seen leaving Green Dragon Cannabis Company in Colorado.
"OMG it's the craziest thing to see marijuana legal in Aspen. People walking into pot stores like it's the @Gap #prohibitiondone," she tweeted at the time.
Whether the rumor is true or not, Frankel already has everyone's interest.
"This is an actual thing," @sarabuhr tweeted including a link to the story.
"So, Washington pot producers - who's growing the munchies-free weed that this lady's going to put her brand on?" @evanbush wrote.
"But half the point of getting stoned is the munchies," @lesliepariseau commented.
"I think @bethenny-branded pot may get me into drugs again," @socarolinesays posted.
"Kinda can't hate Bethany (sic) Frankel for doing this. Because she's an evil genius," @film_girl tweeted.
