The existence of Bigfoot is a never-ending argument, similar to that of the validity of the Loch Ness monster. People who believe in Bigfoot, or Yetis, are now potentially one step closer to winning that argument though, thanks to a video taken by a group of people in the southwest region of the Caucasus Mountains in Russia.
The group of people went into the forest deliberately trying to catch a glimpse of the Yeti after nearby residents reported seeing a creature that "was big, looking like a bear, but not a bear," according to The Daily Mail.
Whether the video is real or not is up for just as much debate as the existence of the creature itself.
"I heard footsteps and we were pretty sure there was no one else around because we knew for sure everyone else was inside the house," one of the investigators told Mysterious Universe, a website that claims the Caucasus mountains are known for Bigfoot sightings. "Although we didn't see anyone, we saw its huge footprints."
The original footage, along with a plaster-made replica of the footprint, is now with scientists from the area in Russia where the sighting took place, according to The Huffington Post.
The Huffington Post also points out that there are definitely some questions to be asked about the footage, such as the exact location of where it was filmed, the time and date of the sighting and the number of footprints the alleged creature made in the snow.
