Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is back in the hospital for a follow-up after his urinary tract infection.
The hospitalization is expected to be brief. Ali's spokesperson Bob Gunnell said he should be home in time to celebrate his 73rd birthday on Saturday, The Associated Press reported.
No other details - including the hospital where he is staying - were immediately released.
Ali was in the hospital just last month with what was originally thought to be a mild case of pneumonia. Doctors later learned that Ali was suffering from a severe urinary tract infection. He was released from the hospital last week.
Ali is also fighting Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with in 1984 - just three years after his retirement.
The disease has been taking its toll on the boxer. In October 2014, his younger brother Rahman Ali said the former boxer's Parkinson's was causing him to have trouble speaking.
Other than his admirable boxing career, Ali devoted much of his time to social causes. He traveled the world on humanitarian missions and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush in 2005.
Ali lives in Louisville with his wife, Lonnie. They also have houses in Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Berrien Springs, Mich.
