Blake Lively still shares a close bond with her "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" co-stars, and chose all three ladies to serve as the godmother to her new baby girl.
Amber Tamblyn and America Ferrera both have shared their excitement for the birth of Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds' daughter, who was born shortly before the new year.
"I'm very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an auntie. All of us are godmothers so we are very happy," Tamblyn told People on Jan. 9.
Lively is the first of the four "Sisterhood" co-stars and friends to give birth. Ferrera also wished the couple luck with their newborn baby.
"I couldn't be more excited for her and Ryan, and they are going to be amazing parents," she told People.
Lively actually kept the birth secret from Tamblyn a little longer than her other friends so she could pull off a funny and surprising prank.
"That bitch. She tricked me," Tamblyn joked to People.
The "Gossip Girl" alum invited her friend up to her home under the false pretense of decorating tips.
"I went up there and I didn't know, everybody knew but me, and she does that s--- to me," the "Two and a Half Men" actress said. "She was texting me about wallpaper, she was like, 'You gotta come see my new wallpaper,' and I went up there, and there was her baby."
She added, "I took pictures with Ryan and the baby and sent them to Ken Kwapis, the 'Sisterhood' director."
The "Sisterhood" co-stars frequently meet up for brunch or to support each other's new projects, but they may soon reunite on the big screen again for a third movie based on the young adult novels by Ann Brashares.
"Potentially. There's a third project in the works! We'll see what happens with that," the "Ugly Betty" alum told Us Weekly.
The first film premiered in 2005 and adapted the first book of the series. A second movie came out in 2008 and tied together the stories of the second, third and fourth books.
