Plaxo Co-founder Minh Nguyen Arrested After Allegedly Murdering Ex-Wife's Husband in Front of Children

In the years of Myspace and Napster, there were many sites that tried to establish themselves as the next big social media tool. One particular attempt at this was Plaxo; an online database that stores one's address book in the cloud and updates it accordingly. Minh Nguyen started the company in 2001 at the young age of 24 and through it, established himself as a notable entrepreneur.

Mr. Nguyen was arrested last Thursday in Ashburn, VA after walking into his ex-wife's house and allegedly shooting her new husband, Corey Mattison. According to reports, two of Nguyen's kids were in the house at the time. One of Denise and Mattison's kids was also in the house

No one else was harmed during the incident and Nguyen was arrested without expressing any resistance.

Mattison worked at a local glass construction company as a company manager. Mattison was described positively by friends and colleagues. They all said Mattison fwas a family man, a great listener and a hard worker.

Mattison had apparently expressed complaints privately about how often Nguyen visited his home during visits.

Before the alleged shooting, Nguyen had lived in San Fransisco, working as an entrepreneur after selling Plexo to Comcast in 2008, as well as consulting for various startups

Plaxo started in 2001 and was an exponential success with business leaders. As of 2015, Plaxo has over 50 million address books and 1.7 contacts stored in its cloud.
