Wade's Son a Top Fifth Grade Basketball Prospect; Zaire Could Follow in the Footsteps of His Father Dwyane (VIDEO)

Heat guard Dwyane Wade has been one of the premiere player’s in the NBA ever since he came into the league 10 years ago. He has three NBA championships, one scoring title and a Finals MVP. After his career is over Wade will most likely be heading to the Hall of Fame. It is safe to say he will leave some sort of legacy on the NBA. According to City League Hoops, there is someone in his family that is looking to make sure his legacy doesn’t die.

The video below was first posted by City League Hoops—it shows Dwyane Wade’s fifth grade son Zaire.

According to Yahoo Sports, the young Wade is one of the top fifth grade basketball players in the United States. He recently showed off his skills at the John Lucas Future of the Game camp. And I know the highlights show only him but to be honest—he looks heads and tails better than everyone else.

Zaire seems to share some basketball traits with his dad. He has a killer crossover, can go to both his left and right, and is able to find an open or cutting teammate for an easy basket. Besides being left handed he does differ from his father in one area—he can shoot the three.

It is obviously important to keep something in mind—Zaire is in the fifth grade. However, if the young Wade stays healthy and follows in the footsteps of his father he could have a bright future.
