A short while ago artist and creator extraordinaire, Todd McFarlane, posted the cover (both colored and uncolored) of the highly anticipated "Spawn" #250 to his Facebook page. McFarlane has been touting this issue for some time, most recently at the Image Expo.
Here's what the artist had to say on Facebook: "How's this for a SEXY cover????? I was going to show this over the weekend, but it went through a LOT of changes before I thought it was ready for the BIG #250!!!!!!
"I know it's been all about 'Spawn' over here, lately....But we do have some TOY announcements coming soon. One involves our 'The Walking Dead' building sets.... which a lot of you will be happy about and the other involves something NEW!!"
It can never be said that McFarlane isn't also a master of hype and hyperbole...especially when it comes to self-promotion. The cover does look hot though. Check it out below:
