"Since you won't reply to my texts I'm giving you an hour to tell the truth or I'll tell it for you," reads a since-deleted tweet by pop star Miley Cyrus to her father Billy Ray, including a photo of Miley with Dylis Croman, an actress who who worked with Billy Ray last year in a production of "Chicago," the New York Daily News and OhNoTheyDidn't reports.
Cyrus scrambled to delete the tweet late last night and then tweeted: "Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!" It is unclear if the original tweet was meant to be a direct message (DM) sent to her father or a tweet saved for another time. Some fans speculate that her Twitter account may have been hacked.
"Nice save. But we all know it's the truth," one fan replied, while another wrote, "[Your] dad isn't proud of you."
Miley's parents, Trish and Billy Ray, have currently been on the rocks, Billy Ray having recently announced that the two are getting a divorced. "We ask that you respect our privacy at this time," the country singer said in a statement, according to EntertainmentWise. "This is a personal matter and we are doing what is in the best interest of our family."
Despite the famous couple claiming to be getting a divorce due to "irreconcible differences," the two have also been spotted hugging and looking happy while out together in public since then, including during a recent outing with their youngest daughter Noah.
"She's taking it as well as she can," a source told HollywoodLife on the topic of Miley. "No one wants their parents to end a marriage. Billy Ray and Tish are awesome people and even better parents. Miley's sad, of course, but that's between her parents. There's not much she can do." It appears that Miley's fiancé Liam Hemsworth is there to support her, as the two have been spotted out together despite rumors that the couple is headed for a break-up.
Earlier this month, Cyrus sent out another since-deleted tweet to her father: "Since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?"
