No. 1 Kentucky remains undefeated after handing Alabama a 70-48 loss on Saturday. Their unbeaten record was threatened twice - against Mississippi and Texas A&M - earlier in January, and those close seemingly served as a wake up for Kentucky. Since then, Kentucky has blown out their last two opponents, Missouri and Alabama.

"I think we just came out with a lack of energy offensively and defensively, and it showed in how we played and how teams played against us," Kentucky forward Trey Lyles told the Associated Press. "The last couple of games we've picked it up, definitely."

Lyles's teammate, forward Derek Willis, seemed to agree.

"Our whole attitude has changed for real," he said. "We've beaten top-10 teams by like 30, 40 points and we come in and just think we're going to get a win. Now our whole attitude has gone back to 'We just want to (beat) people.'"

Beating teams has become a little bit easier with the emergence of freshman guard Devin Booker, who's hit 20 of 28 three-pointers over the last seven games.

"It's a confidence thing," assistant coach John Robic said of Booker's hot shooting. "He has that going, he has been in that gym every day and he is getting rewarded by it and our team is. When you put in that work, you see results, and that's what he is doing."

Vanderbilt, meanwhile, is 11-6 after losing their last three games. Their latest defeat came in a 57-54 loss on Saturday to Mississippi State.
