'Powers': Series to Drop on the PlayStation Network in March, New Art Unveiled (SEE IT)

"Powers" co-creator Brian Michael Bendis is excited enough about the "Powers" TV series premiere that he's decided to tell you about it himself over at the official PlayStation blog. "Powers" will premiere on March 10, which is cool, but what is much cooler is that they're dropping three episodes on that day. New episodes will then be released each following Tuesday.

Since "Powers" will only be airing on the PlayStation Network, that might keep some fans out of the loop. The good news is that they're making the first episode available to everyone, but after that, you're either a PlayStation Plus member, or you're out of luck.

"Powers" was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. The long-running comic book series tells the story of a city full of superhumans, and the cops who have to deal with the fallout from their battles. It's very adult and very well done. I highly recommend that everyone read as much of the Image series as you can before the TV version hits.

The series itself stars Sharlto Copley, Susan Heyward, Michelle Forbes, Eddie Izzard, and more. Bendis also unveiled a slick new piece of key art for the series. Take a gander below:
