Super Bowl XLIX: Marvel Stars Chris Evans And Chris Pratt Crank Up Rivalry Between Their Hometown Favorites

Chris Evans and Chris Pratt both fight the forces of evils as Marvel superheroes, but team loyalties will pit the stars against each other on Super Bowl Sunday.

Evans, who plays "Captain America," called off his friendship temporarily with the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star on Monday in a Twitter exchange that quickly escalated.

The Massachusetts native, who grew up in the town of Sudbury outside Boston, will root for Tom Brady and New England Patriots. Pratt, who was raised in Washington state, will cheer on the Seattle Seahawks. The "Parks and Recreation" star responded to Evans tweet by using his superhero persona against him.

Evans answered with his own snarky message.

Pratt presented his wager first on Tuesday evening via Twitter. If he wins, the young patients at Seattle Children's hospital will be the ultimately benefactors.

Evans accepted, but demanded Pratt show up to Christopher's Haven in Boston wearing a Tom Brady Jersey if the Pats come out on top.

The boys continued the trash talk with Pratt referencing the recent scandal surrounding the Patriots and allegedly deflating the footballs they used in the game against the Indianapolis Colts.
