LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's Reality Show on VH1 Canceled After 1 Season

No more "LeAnn & Eddie" . . . on TV, that is.

VH1 has canceled the married couple's reality show after one season, Us Weekly confirmed. Last July, VH1 debuted one eight-episode series, which gave fans a glimpse into the couple's life together.

In an interview with People Magazine, Rimes said she wanted to correct the misconceptions that fans had about her marriage with Cibrian.

"The biggest global misconception would be that we're not two people who are really in love with each other, that there are ulterior motives to our relationship," Rimes told People in July. "But people just don't get it. Hopefully people will get a chance to see how we just click."

The couple met while they were still married to other people. LeAnn was previously married to chef Dean Sheremet, while Cibrian was married to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, whom he shares two sons with.

In July, Rimes said that the show was a way to "take our life back and have fun with our story and where we are now."

"Ultimately, we wanted to do a show and I think that this format and this genre, unscripted, gave us an opportunity to do something fun and work together," Cibrian added. "What's really real about the show is our relationship juxtaposed by everything the public reads and is fed by the tabloids...ultimately, this is a comedy and that's how we go about our life as well, is we laugh and it really helps."

VH1 had no comment on the cancellation.
