Golden State (33-6) has beaten Houston twice this season, with their last win coming on Saturday in a 131-106 blowout. Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were nightmares for Houston over the weekend, scoring 27 points apiece in what would be Houston's 13th loss of the season.

"We just got to be a lot better," said Rockets coach Kevin McHale, via ESPN. "We did not put up any kind of fight, we had no effort versus that team last time."

The Warriors are looking for their third straight win after routing the Denver Nuggets on Monday, 122-79. Curry and Thompson both played less than 25 minutes in the blowout, recording 20 and 22 points, respectively.

"This is so unique to have a group pull for each other that exhibits the selflessness where, from one night to the next, somebody isn't going to get a lot of points or a lot of shots," said first-year coach Steve Kerr. "And it doesn't seem to bother them."

A win for Golden State on Wednesday would be their 17th straight at home and a franchise record, according to ESPN.

Houston, meanwhile, is 29-13 and looking for their second straight win. They've won two of their last four games, including Monday's 110-98 victory against the Indiana Pacers. Harden bounced back from his 12-point performance on Saturday against Golden State with a staggering 45 points against Indiana, pushing his scoring average to a league-leading 27.1 points per game.

"He's playing at an elite level that few players get to," McHale said. "He's really playing well and we've put a lot of responsibility on him."
