For the past three weeks Taylor Swift's album "1989" has been holding onto the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 200 Chart. The list ranks the week's most popular albums and the "Blank Space" singer is no longer in the lead.
According to Billboard.com, Meghan Trainor's debut album "Title" nabbed the No. 1 spot, which pushed "1989" down to No. 2. "Title" - also the title of Trainor's 2014 EP - produced the hit song "All About That Bass," followed by "Lips Are Movin."
Billboard reports that the album, released Jan. 13, sold an impressive 195,000 copies, had 377,000 song downloads and was streamed nearly eight million times. Trainor released the album just three weeks before the 2015 Grammy Awards, in which she is nominated for song and record of the year for "All About That Bass."
The catchy tune also made it to the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight consecutive weeks. Trainor must be definitely basking in all her success. According to Billboard, Trainor also became the 13th female artist to debut at No. 1 with an album and a song. Other artists who have earned the honor include Mariah Carey, Lauryn Hill, Britney Spears, Ashanti, Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera.
Trainor will also be on Season 8 of "The Voice" as a mentor for Blake Shelton's team.
