Teresa Giudice's daughter, Gia Giudice, revealed that she and her sisters talk to their mom on a daily basis. The 14-year-old told "Access Hollywood" that she and her family - dad, Joe, and younger sisters Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5 - went to visit the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star earlier this month.
Teresa surrendered and started her 15-month prison sentence at Danbury Correctional Institution in Connecticut on Jan. 5. Joe is expected to begin his 41-month sentence next year.
"We can talk to her on a daily [basis] and we have access to emailing her whenever we want," Gia said. "So that's amazing. It definitely helps with, like, coping with missing her and stuff."
Gia said that the last time they saw Teresa she was "doing amazing." The young reality star and girl-group singer also praised her father for keeping everything together while Teresa is behind bars.
"I mean, my dad has been amazing," she said. "Like, he's honestly the rock. He's helping us so much."
Gia revealed to "Access Hollywood" that she has been using music to express her feelings. The teen, who is a member of 3KT, said her new song "Just 13" helped her sort through some of her emotions.
"My voice teacher and I sat down and we just basically like poured out our thoughts," Gia said. "It's really just me and [my teacher] like really writing it out and just expressing ourselves."
"I just want [my fans] to know that I'm ok, but also give them a little input of what I'm going through," the teen added.
Us Weekly previously reported that Teresa is expected to be released from prison two months earlier than expected, on Feb. 5, 2016.
