"Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell recently re-proposed to her fiancé of four years, Dax Shephard, over Twitter in celebration of the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the New York Daily News reports.
"You're damn right DOMA is unconstitutional!" Bell tweeted this morning. "[Dax Shepard] will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove."
"F**k Yes!!!!!!!!!!!" the "Parenthood" actor tweeted in response, happy to oblige her. "DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead. Now let's bring my big, gay marriage to [Kristen Bell] to Life!!!!"
Bell and Shephard have been vocal about their support of marriage equality. In 2012, Bell told CNN that she and Shephard would wait to marry until it was legalized for same-sex couples as well.
"I don't believe in standing in the way of love, and I want to stand up for that right," the star said at the time. "We're not going to have a party when half of our friends can't do that thing we're doing. We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don't have. That's just tacky!"
Bell and Shephard welcomed their first daughter, Lincoln, in March. There is no word yet on when the two are planning on walking down the aisle, but it is likely to happen sooner rather than later following the Supreme Court's recent ruling.
