A father allegedly shot his daughters, girlfriend and his girlfriend's mother in their home on Saturday in New York City, leaving the two women and a 7-yer-old girl dead and another girl seriously injured.
The attack took out three generations of the family, Seattle PI reported.
Jonathon Walker, 34, is said to have shot a 7-year-old, a 62-year-old grandmother and 31-year-old mother, and seriously injured a 12-year-old on a suburban street near John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Kayla Walker, 7, and 12-year-old Christina Walker were Jonathon Walker's daughters, and 31-year-old Shantai Hale, their mother, was his girlfriend.
The family said they never saw any signs of trouble in the family or the potential for violence in Walker.
"There was no indication of anything that would remotely make him do this," Wendell Warren, a family member, said.
Christina Walker called 911 at 5:40 a.m. to report the shooting in Queens. The youngest girl and both women had been shot in the head and killed when authorities arrived at the scene.
The 12-year-old girl is in critical condition and has undergone surgery.
"She's always tough. She's determined to live," Wendell Warren said.
Jonathon Walker got away in an SUV and may have a .45-caliber gun with him, Yahoo News reported.
