A 4-year-old girl in Michigan called 911 and saved her pregnant mother while she had a seizure and collapsed to the ground Wednesday.
Calise Manning dialed 911 after her nearly nine-month pregnant mother, Centerria Manning, began to have a seizure, according to ABC News. Manning said Calise stayed calm throughout the entire experience. She gave important details to the 911 operator such as their address, color of home and the fact that Manning was pregnant.
Manning said she woke up right before the paramedics arrived and her daughter comforted her. She said she had taught Calise what to do in case of an emergency because she was an epileptic.
"It was a really good ride in the ambulance with mom," Calise said, according to Insider Fox News. "And she was really proud of me."
Manning was taken to the hospital where she received anti-seizure medication, ABC News said. Her doctors decided to start her labor to keep Manning and her baby healthy.
Manning had her son TJ two days after the 911 call, Insider Fox News reported. Manning said both she and TJ are being monitored, but she expects TJ to be released either Sunday or Monday. However, she does not expect to leave the hospital until later next week.
