Russell Brand apparently wants to get remarried, as the comedian recently spoke to the Daily Mirror about his 14-month marriage to pop star Katy Perry and revealed how he wants his future wife to be "sexually adventurous," HollywoodTake reports, making a possibly subtle jab at the pop star.
"I would like to get married again and have a family," Brand told British newspaper. "I am looking for my future wife. I hope she's kind and sweet and sexually adventurous. I don't ask for much, do I?"
Brand is currently dating 23-year old hotel heiress Alessandra Balazs, who is 15 years his junior, though there is no word yet on whether or not Brand will propose. As for Perry, she likely won't be attending any of Brand's future weddings, as the singer revealed to Vogue magazine that she hasn't spoken to her ex-husband since December 2011 when he allegedly sent her a request for a divorce via text message.
In an interview with Howard Stern, Brand admitted to playing the field and dating around following his divorce. "I had a little bit of a reaction," he said. "Like if you've been on a diet of rice for a while and then suddenly Willy Wonka said. 'I need you to run my chocolate factory.'"
Back in March, Brand called his short-lived marriage to Perry "a drag," according to Metro UK. "That marriage was shaky from the get-go, before I'd even got off the elephant," he said during an XFM radio show, referencing the traditional Hindu wedding he and Perry had in India.
"It was a drag, man," Brand said at the time. "Let me tell you a thing about marriage. Marriage is a bond that can last up to 14 months. This is a sacred 14-month arrangement. Begins on an elephant. Ends in a newspaper..."
Currently Brand is preparing for stand-up comedy tour "The Messiah Complex," which will begin July 27 in Lake Tahoe, Nev.
