Man Steals $4,000 Worth of Ribs, Wings and Fries

A hungry thief has stolen $4,000 of fries, ribs, chicken and wings to possibly throw a decadent Super Bowl party, ABC News reported on Tuesday.

Jerome Brown BBQ in Jacksonville, FL was broken into last Wednesday, according to police. The man was caught on surveillance footage prying open the business's side door to get in, though his identity is still unknown. A cash drawer worth $5,000 was gone and so was all the meat by the time the restaurant was scheduled to open next.

"This guy may be getting ready to throw a Super Bowl Party! - Suspect Sought - Please Share!" the sheriff's Facebook post about the burglary stated.

The man appears to be wearing a Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt, jeans and a ski cap.

"The incident that happened hurts everybody," said Ericka Morris, Jerome Brown BBQ's manager of 10 years, according to the Huffington Post. "It hurts employees, managers and the business owners. We wish whoever knows something about it, just turn them in. A close friend might know him. Just turn him in, because it's hurting everybody."

An award of up to $3,000 is being offered for information on the case. Crime Stoppers can be contacted anonymously at 1-866-845-TIPS.
