Kat Von D and Deadmau5 End Their Relationship, Again. Will it Last?

The on-again-off-again relationship of reality TV star and tattoo artist Kat Von D and Canadian DJ Deadmau5 appears to finally be over for good as Von D announced their engagement was off over Twitter, according to the Daily Mail.

Von D wrote a series of tweets to document the end of her relationship with the world. An ambiguous proclamation, "Man, I'm a fool," was followed up by a more detailed explanation.

"Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do," Von D tweeted. "I hate to have to admit, that this relationship is indeed over."

Deadmau5, born Joel Zimmerman, made a statement on his Facebook confirming that the relationship was over. Zimmerman also defended himself over Von D's accusation that he had cheated; he admitted that he had relations with another woman while they were broken up for a short time but that he had not cheated.

"At the end of June, it was clear that the relationship was not working and we mutually ended the engagement," Zimmerman said on his Facebook. "I was not, at any point, unfaithful to Kat during our time together."

Their relationship had gone full circle when Von D announced the break up over Twitter since Twitter was partially responsible for the two getting together in the first place.

"Joel had responded to a tweet I had posted, and we began chatting about the possibility of him getting tattooed," Von D told Inked while discussing how the two got together during happier times. "So I guess you could say it was via Twitter, but for some reason that sounds kind of silly."

What may also sound kind of silly is the idea of getting engaged over Twitter, but that is exactly how Von D and Zimmerman were engaged. Last December Zimmerman tweeted a picture of a ring asked for Von D's hand.

This is the second very public break up for the tattoo artist; Von D had her engagement with reality star Jesse James broken off under similar rumors of infidelity, according to the Daily Mail.

Despite all of the heartbreak Von D tweeted out an inspirational message to end her twitter rant.
