Flight of Conchords Plotting U.S. Tour in 2015 (WATCH IT)

I've been waiting since 2009 for this day because soon, it will business time once again, as the fourth most popular folk band in New Zealand, Flight of the Conchords, are looking to get the band back together. Somewhere, I can hear their obsessive manager Murray calling the roll...

According to an article at Billboard, Jemaine Clement and his partner Bret McKenzie are "planning on touring later on in the year in the States." While specific details remain as-yet-unconfirmed, the duo will be debuting new material during these shows. "I really don't like the studio part of music," Clement explained. "I more enjoy playing live and letting others take care of the recording."

Clement dicussed these possibilities during a promotional appearance at Sundance for his latest film "People, Places,Things."

After their HBO series shut down in 2009, Flight of the Conchords embarked on a very brief tour in mid-2010. Their activity has been infrequent since then, limited to a few one-off performances here and there in 2012 and the release of a charity single for Red Nose Day. Last fall, reports surfaced of a tentative return to HBO, only for Clement and McKenzie to later clarify they were developing a separate project for the cable network. Nevertheless, a long-rumored Flight of the Conchords movie/musical is still a possibility, as well.

Check out the Conchords in action below and tell me you don't need more of this in your life:
