SMAP Launch Not Happening Anytime Before Saturday, NASA Says (VIDEO, LIVE STREAM)

NASA's Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) observatory launch has been delayed once again. The original launch date was Jan. 29, but the mission was scrubbed due to high upper level winds, according to NASA. The launch was reset for Friday, but minor repairs had to be made to the booster insulation.

The new launch attempt will take place on Jan. 31 at 9:20 a.m. EST, according to NASA.
