40 has never looked so good as Alyssa Milano graces of the cover this month's issue of Maxim.
According to USA Today, the actress is gracing the cover of the July/August issue of Maxim and the actress reminisces on the days she spent as a child star on "Who's the Boss" playing Samantha Micelli.
"It wasn't weird, because I didn't know any different.," the 40-year old actress said. "You know, I went through puberty like everyone else; it only got embarrassing when the show would take what was going on with me and write it into the show, like 'Samantha's First Bra.' It was like, OK, guys, do we really need to do this? But what an awesome time stamp!"
Milano looks back and sees that not all child stars go on to have careers following their stint on their show but singles herself out as one of the only ones that managed to create a career.
"That was an era when TV child actors just didn't work after their show was over," she said. "I think Christina Applegate and I are the only two who maintained some sort of career path past the shows that launched us. But I have a great family, and I look at a lot of these kids who struggle in the industry and think they'd have struggled no matter what they did."
Following her success on "Who's The Boss," Milano went to star in many hit shows such as "Melrose Place" from 1997 - 1998 and "Charmed" from 1998 - 200." The actress currently is playing the role of Savannah on ABC's "Mistresses," where she plays a married woman in the midst of a steamy affair.
