Lindsay Lohan Rehab: Dina and Ali Lohan Apartment Hunting for Actress’ Release?

Lindsay Lohan has a little over a month before she is allowed to leave rehab and head back home. According to the Daily Mail, Dina and Ali Lohan are so excited to welcome the actress home that they decided to go apartment hunting. The two were reportedly spotted looking for apartments in New York City's SoHo neighborhood so they young actress would have a place to come home to once leaving. According to Perez Hilton, before Lindsay's rehab stint she was sharing an apartment in the same area with a friend.

Back in March, the "Mean Girls" actress was sentenced to 90 days in rehab after violating her probation when she crashed her car in Santa Monica last summer. Following her release from rehab she is required to also complete 30 days of community service. She was checked into Betty Ford at the beginning of May and is supposed to be released in August.

She had a bit of a rough start when she first entered into rehab but has become a "model patient," TMZ reports. Sources close to the former child star told the website that Lindsay was beginning to open up to and started taking the one-on-one counseling sessions and group sessions seriously.

She had a bit of a setback when both her parents bailed out of doing a family counseling session. Dina and Michael Lohan appeared on a new talks show called "The Test" where they were supposed to work their differences out. Things went horribly wrong once the topics of Lindsay and infidelity was brought up. According to TMZ, things spiraled out of control with both parents yelling and screaming at each other. Because of all the hostility, Lindsay's father told Radar Online that he wasn't going to go the family counseling session a Betty Ford to avoid any further confrontations.

"I didn't want a confrontation with Dina while Lindsay was in rehab," Michael Lohan said.

According to Newsday, Lohan herself already has plans once she's free from rehab. Her rep confirmed to E! News that she will be going to the Venice Film Festival in August to promote the movie "The Canyons."
