Krystyna Lennon's tiny black German Spitz sure has a whole lot of talent. Lennon brought her cute little dog, named Princess, to the auditions for "Britain's Got Talent" at Manchester's Lowry Theatre to showcase the pup's odd skill: hypnotism.
According to News 24, judge Simon Cowell was a little skeptical that Princess could hypnotize a human so he approached the performance stage to stare into the dog's eyes. Wrong move. Sources told the site that when the 55-year-old returned to his seat he told fellow judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams that he wasn't feeling good.
Suddenly, Cowell reportedly slumped over onto the table and producers had to ask Lennon and her "Hypnodog" to return to the stage. Thankfully, Lennon and Princess were able to wake up Cowell.
"It was the freakiest moment we've ever had," a source told News 24.
A spokesman for "Britain's Got Talent" told the BBC that the incident "happened on Friday and [Cowell] returned to auditions" the following day. A source also told the site that Cowell wasn't the only one affected by Princess. Reportedly, hosts Ant and Dec also gazed into the dog's eyes and kept forgetting the number seven every time they tried to count to 10.
According to Lennon's website, Princess has performed her hypnotism trick at different universities and music festivals around the UK. She has also performed at casinos, on cruise ships and at hotels. Lennon took over the family hypnotism business in 2007 when her uncle, Hugh Lennon, retired.
