Suge Knight headed straight to the hospital after pleading not guilty to murder and other charges on Tuesday morning, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Paramedics from the Downey Fire Department responded to the emergency call at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. They took Knight in for "an unspecified medical condition," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told The Hollywood Reporter.
Knight reportedly suffered a panic attack and complained of chest pains while waiting in the lockup area next to the courtroom. While in police custody last November, he had to be taken to the hospital for blood clots that caused him to pass out, according to TMZ.
The rap mogul entered a not guilty plea for the murder of 55-year-old Terry Carter and the attempted murder of 51-year-old actor Cle "Bone" Sloan in a hit-and-run incident near the set of the "Straight Outta Compton" movie on Jan. 29. Police arrested Knight the next day.
If convicted, Knight could face life in state prison. His $2.2-million bail was revoked because he's a "possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past," LASD spokeswoman Nicole Nishida told The Los Angeles Times.
