Bobbi Kristina Brown's family still believes that she's going to pull through and recover. The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has been in a medically induced coma since Jan. 31 after she was found face down in a filled bathtub at her Atlanta area home.
The Houston and Brown families have been holding a bedside vigil for Bobbi for the past week and a source told People magazine that the family is now seeking the public's help with prayers. On Monday night (Feb. 9), Bobbi Kristina's family will hold a public candlelight vigil at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Ga.
"There has been no change," a family source told the magazine about Brown's condition. "We are hoping that God will see fit to perform a miracle in her, so that he will get the glory."
Bobbi Kristina's cousin Jerod Brown has been posting updates on his Facebook page and said that the family was not ready to give up hope and were praying for a miracle.
"Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change, though we might want to play detective and find out how she got there, though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK," he posted on Feb. 5.
On Friday, Jerod gave another update, writing, "Though doctors may report to the public that opening her eyes is not a good thing or bad thing... #StillPrayForBK Though the media reported she's in a coma... #StillPrayForBK Though your neighbor may not be hopeful... #StillPrayForBK."
The family source told People that "everyone is praying" and "have laid hands on Krissi." It's still not clear what led to Bobbi Kristina's unresponsiveness but reports emerged on Sunday claiming that police were shifting their focus to her partner, Nick Gordon, after doctors allegedly discovered mysterious bruises on her body.
