A 3-month-old kitten was stolen from her PetSmart cage Friday and returned a day later to a different franchise location by a man who apparently didn't have the money to purchase her for his Valentine.
A man went into a Minneapolis PetSmart Friday asking to look at their cats. When he said he was done looking the manager locked up the cat he was holding and left him to be, according to Ruff Start Rescue's Facebook page, who often partners with PetSmart to get their rescued animals exposure.
Shortly after the man was left alone another employee walked by and saw the man standing outside the cat room holding an adult cat. When the employee took the cat away from him she noticed another cat cage was broken in to with a bolt cutter.
