We have been hooked on Fox's new show "Empire" since the very first episode and thankfully E! News and Entertainment Weekly has a few spoilers about upcoming episodes. The last time we saw the Lyon clan, Lucius (Terrence Howard) had proposed to Anika (Grace Gealey) and Jamal (Jussie Smollett) had finished his single even though his brother Andre (Trai Byers) had tried to sabotage it.
In this week's episode, airing Feb. 11, EW teases that Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson) loses it after finding out about the engagement and someone figures out that Lucius killed Bunkie.
"Next week's episode is probably the season's juiciest yet, which is thanks to Courtney Love's arrival as an Empire singer who hasn't had a hit in years. She'll find an ally in Cookie, who's on edge once she finds out about Lucius' impending marriage to Anika," EW wrote. "Plus, someone in the family finally discovers the secret about Bunkie, and the question is who he/she will tell first once the secret's out!"
In a sneak peek for episode six, Vernon Turner is seen questioning Lucius about Bunkie's death. E! Online also teased that Hakeem's (Bryshere Gray) relationship with his dad is about to get vicious.
"You thought Lucius' relationship with Jamal was bad? Oh, just wait and see what his relationship with Hakeem looks like towards the end of the season," the site wrote. "It might just make someone turn to his mother for support... The final two episodes are gonna be insanely epic and you'll be floored at how the division of power starts shaping up!"
Before the season ends, fans will also get to see a few A-list guest stars including Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora. Sources told E! that producers also tried to get Iggy Azalea but she couldn't work it into her schedule. Maybe next season the "Fancy" singer could pop up on a few episodes.
