Novak Djokovic meets Tomas Berdych on Wednesday in the 2013 Wimbledon Championships quarterfinals. The match begins at 8 a.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
A win on Wednesday will put Djokovic one match closer to claiming his second Wimbledon title. Despite having a 13-2 record against Berdych, the Serb isn't taking his opponent lightly, Sport.co.uk reports.
"I hadn't played great at that match against Tomas, but credit to him because he played finals that year, and he beat Roger and myself, played a good match against Rafa (Nadal) in the final. So he knows how to play on grass. That's the only time (Wimbledon 2010) we played on this surface," Djokovic told reporters. "I'm expecting a difficult match.
"...It's the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam. He's an established top 5, top 10 player in the world.
"But I feel good about myself in this moment. I think I actually play better tennis on grass than I played two years ago when I won this tournament. For now I'm feeling good. I'm No. 1 of the world. I have no reason to be concerned about my game."
Although the World No. 1 is expecting a difficult match, he didn't struggle to reach the quarterfinals - he's yet to drop a set. He breezed through Florian Mayer, Bobby Reynolds, Jeremy Chardy and, most recently, Tommy Haas. With the early exits of Nadal and Roger Federer, Djokovic is the only former champion remaining in the draw.
Berdych is ranked No. 6 in the World, and he boasts a 31-12 record this year. The 27-year-old Czech made it to the Wimbledon final in 2010 before falling to Nadal.
In a tournament filled with many upsets thus far, anything can happen on Wednesday.
